I integrated BuddyPress, a social plugin, into WordPress. You might be thinking, “aren’t plugins simple to add to WordPress?” Yes, they are. But this isn’t your ordinary integration. I extended the users profile, wiped a lot of the unnecessary functionality out, and wrapped their website around BuddyPress as opposed to the BuddyPress default which is to overtake and become the site. This isn’t a social site, but it needed social functionality. And that is what I helped them do.
